Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join their analytics department in Nelspruit . In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust BI solutions, including data warehouses, data marts, and reporting dashboards, to support business decision-making. You will work closely with business users to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver actionable insights through effective data visualization and reporting.

This position requires a strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and BI tools.

• Design, develop, and implement data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses using BI tools.
• Create compelling and insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations for various business stakeholders.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective BI solutions.
• Optimize database performance and query efficiency for reporting and analytical purposes.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business users to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development and data warehousing.
• Proficiency with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik View, or similar.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with ETL tools and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
