About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Project Manager with a specialization in IT Infrastructure to join their team in Nelspruit . This role operates within a hybrid model, balancing office-based collaboration with remote flexibility. You will be responsible for managing the deployment, upgrade, and maintenance of IT infrastructure across the organization, including networks, servers, and cloud environments. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all technical and business requirements, contributing to the technological advancement and stability of the company's IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, from initiation to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budget.
- Coordinate activities between internal IT teams, external vendors, and service providers.
- Monitor project progress, identify and manage risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects (e.g., network upgrades, server deployments, cloud migrations).
- Experience working within a hybrid work environment .
- Strong understanding of network technologies, server administration, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, MS Project).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Project+, PMP, or cloud certifications are advantageous.
