Telecommunications Systems Administrator

Our client is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their vital communication infrastructure in Klerksdorp . • Administer, configure, and maintain PBX systems , VoIP gateways, and unified communications platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Manage user accounts, extensions, and voicemail settings, providing timely support to end-users.
• Implement and maintain security protocols for all telecom systems to protect against unauthorized access.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations in coordination with IT management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator with a focus on telecommunications.
• In-depth knowledge of VoIP technologies , SIP protocol, and PBX administration.
• Experience with major telecommunications platforms (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams).
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
