Blockchain Security Auditor

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Blockchain Security Auditor to join their growing security team in Benoni . You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring the security and integrity of smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and blockchain protocols. This role is critical in safeguarding our client's and their users' assets and maintaining trust within the blockchain ecosystem.

You will conduct in-depth analyses, penetration testing, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance the security posture of our blockchain-based solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a sharp analytical mind and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles within the context of blockchain technology.

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts (e.g., Solidity) and dApps on various blockchain platforms.
• Perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews to identify security flaws.
• Analyze blockchain protocols and network security for potential weaknesses and attack vectors.
• Develop and implement security best practices and standards for blockchain development and deployment.
• Provide detailed reports on findings, risks, and recommendations for remediation to development teams and stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends in the blockchain and cybersecurity landscape.

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Security Auditor or in a related cybersecurity role focused on blockchain.
• In-depth knowledge of smart contract security principles and common vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow).
• Proficiency in analyzing code written in languages like Solidity, Vyper, or Rust.
• Experience with security analysis tools and penetration testing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, and network security concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
