About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical technology implementation initiatives in Nelspruit. This role is pivotal in driving the successful deployment of new systems, software, and technological solutions across the organization. - Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex technology implementation projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budget tracking, and risk management.
- Coordinate activities of internal teams, vendors, and third-party contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee the testing, deployment, and post-implementation support of new technologies.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to all levels of management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on technology implementation and IT infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience with various project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Deep understanding of IT systems, software development life cycles (SDLC), and network technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- PMP or similar certification is highly preferred.
