Telecommunications Systems Administrator

Our client is seeking a diligent Telecommunications Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their critical communication systems in Nelspruit . This hybrid role involves ensuring the smooth operation, security, and availability of their voice and data infrastructure. You will be responsible for system configuration, troubleshooting, and user support, playing a key part in maintaining seamless communication channels for the business. • Administer and maintain PBX systems, VoIP platforms, and unified communications solutions.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventative measures.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and configurations for telecom services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to telecommunications systems.
• Implement system updates, patches, and security enhancements.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on telecom system functionalities.

• Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in managing and supporting telecommunications systems.
• Proficiency with PBX systems, VoIP technologies, and IP networking.
• Experience with unified communications platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams Voice, Cisco UC).
