Project Manager, IT Infrastructure

Our client is looking for a dedicated Project Manager with a strong background in IT Infrastructure to join their team in Klerksdorp . This role is crucial for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of critical IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, system implementations, and data center enhancements. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the organization's technical and strategic objectives.

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management for IT initiatives.
• Coordinate activities of internal IT teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Identify project risks and issues, and develop proactive strategies for mitigation and resolution.
• Ensure all IT infrastructure projects adhere to security standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges effectively to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management , specifically focusing on infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing projects related to network upgrades, server deployments, cloud migrations, or data center management.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components and technologies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• PMP or ITIL certification is a plus.
