About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and insightful Data Scientist to join their innovative IT and Software department in Nelspruit . This role is crucial for leveraging large datasets to extract actionable insights, build predictive models, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. You will work with cutting-edge tools and technologies to analyze complex data, develop sophisticated algorithms, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Collect, clean, and process large, complex datasets from various sources.
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and statistical algorithms to solve business problems.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Visualize data and present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate data science solutions into production systems.
- Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, Num Py) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with SQL and database technologies.
