E-commerce Conversion Rate Optimization; CRO) Specialist

Our client, a leading online fashion retailer, is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven E-commerce Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to join their team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga . This role is critical to maximizing website performance and driving revenue by identifying and implementing strategies to improve the user experience and conversion rates across all stages of the customer journey. You will be responsible for conducting user research, analyzing website data, designing and executing A/B tests, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.

• Design, implement, and manage A/B tests and multivariate tests to optimize website elements such as landing pages, product pages, checkout flows, and calls-to-action.
• Interpret test results, draw statistically significant conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and marketing teams to implement winning test variations and new features.
• Monitor website performance and track key CRO metrics, reporting regularly on progress and impact.
• Stay updated on the latest CRO best practices, tools, and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities for personalization and segmentation to improve conversion rates for different user groups.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience specifically in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) or a related analytical role within e-commerce.
• Proficiency with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize).
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and user research methodologies.
• Experience with heatmap and session recording tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings.
