Job Purpose

Support the planning, coordination, and execution of key logistics and supply chain functions within the organization. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations – including procurement, inventory management, warehousing distribution and supplier coordination while developing professional and leadership skills for future advancement within DHL

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Assist with daily operations across procurement, warehousing, transport and inventory management.
• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting on supply chain metrics (eg. Lead times, delivery accuracy, cost efficiency)
• Participate in demand and supply planning meetings to understand forecasting and capacity alignment
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
• Assist in monitoring stock levels and reconciling inventory variances
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations and operational standards
• Prepare presentations and reports for management review

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12

• Bcom / Honors degree in Supply Chain Management
