Stock Controller | Luxury Tented Camp | Touws River

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller for a luxury tented camp based in Touws River. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised hospitality professional with strong inventory management skills to join a dynamic team and play a key role in maintaining efficient stock control across the property.

Location: Touws River, Western Cape

Property Type: Luxury Tented Camp

Salary: R12,000 – R15,000 per month (DOE)

Position: Live-in

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels across all departments, ensuring accurate inventory control, minimising wastage and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the camp. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and previous experience within the hospitality industry.

• Manage and monitor stock levels across all departments
• Receive, inspect and record all incoming deliveries
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reports
• Monitor stock usage and identify discrepancies or variances
• Ensure correct storage and stock rotation procedures are followed
• Coordinate stock transfers between departments where required
• Assist with ordering and replenishment of stock
• Work closely with the kitchen, housekeeping and management teams to ensure stock availability
• Minimise wastage and support effective cost control
• Ensure all stock control procedures comply with company standards

• Previous experience as a Stock Controller within hospitality is preferred
• Experience with in a luxury lodge, hotel or safari camp environment would be advantageous
• Strong numerical and administrative skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and stock management systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Honest, reliable and highly organised
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
