Salary: R6 000,00 CTC per month

We are looking for an organised, and customer-focused Express & On-Demand Assistant to join our operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys coordinating people, solving problems, and ensuring operational excellence.

As the Express & On-Demand Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our hub by supervising operational activities, monitoring driver performance, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12).

Experience with in an FMCG, logistics, warehousing, courier, or last-mile delivery environment.

Previous experience supervising operational teams or coordinating drivers.

Cash handling and reconciliation experience.

Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organisational and administrative abilities.

Ability to prioritise, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.

No criminal record.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily opening and closing of the operational hub.

Supervise day-to-day hub and on-demand delivery operations.

Monitor driver dashboards to ensure adequate operational coverage.

Ensure drivers and staff report for duty on time and perform their responsibilities in line with company standards.

Monitor driver compliance, PPE requirements, documentation, and operational processes.

Ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Identify and escalate operational non-compliance promptly.

Investigate customer complaints and ensure timely, professional resolutions.

Respond to operational emails and escalations efficiently.

Manage daily cash handling procedures, reconciliations, and banking deposits.

Reconcile Cash-on-Delivery (COD) payments accurately and report discrepancies immediately.

Support the achievement of customer delivery service level agreements (SLAs).

Assist with administrative and operational reporting as required.
