Logistics Superintendent

Description

Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Logistics Superintendent to join their mining company based in North‑West. You will be responsible for leading logistics and supply chain operations to ensure the safe, efficient and cost‑effective movement, storage and control of materials while maintaining compliance with operational and SHEQ requirements.

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure the efficient movement of materials and products.
• Oversee inventory control, stock reconciliations and accurate inventory management.
• Coordinate transportation activities and monitor logistics schedules to support operational requirements.
• Coordinate and manage diesel deliveries and fuel supply to ensure operational continuity.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards, company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor and manage the logistics team, including performance management, training and employee development.
• Monitor logistics performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate logistics records, reports and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective supply chain and logistics performance.
• Support cost control initiatives and ensure the effective utilisation of logistics resources.

• Grade 12
• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics or supply chain operations within a mining environment
• Experience managing logistics operations, inventory control and transportation activities
• Strong understanding of SHEQ principles and operational compliance
• Valid Driver's License
