Controller: Inventory Planning | Road Freight

Job Context

To provide expertise and advice to support the development of operational implementation plans and associated service delivery processes, methods and techniques and to analyse stock levels and produce optimal stock replenishment plans, enabling the on-time in-full availability of inventory for production or distribution, contributing to client / customer satisfaction, optimal profitability, reduced risk and compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements.

• Deliver work activities according to set standards in order to satisfy customers
• Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills
• Own and live up to the company values
• Execute own work according to set operating procedures service level agreements
• Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes
• Plan and organise own tasks to make sure that performance targets are met and standard operating procedures are adhered to (daily to 3 months)
• Receive, record, resolve or
• Follow up on client or customer queries or orders and provide regular feedback
• Analyse stock levels and produce inventory optimisation plans
• Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximise financial performance
• Provide continuous feedback on task delivery to support decision making

• Bachelor's or equivalent 3-year degree (NQF Level
  7)

• Up to 5 years of experience in a similar environment with at least 2 years tactical leadership or specialist experience
• Proficient inventory management knowledge and / or skill
• Proficient reporting and interpretation knowledge and / or skill
