The Logistics Optimization Manager will lead strategic initiatives to enhance the efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and reliability of Bolloré Logistics’ operations in the Limpopo region. This role involves analyzing complex supply chain networks, implementing advanced optimization tools, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive performance improvements. • Design and execute logistics network optimization models to reduce transit times and operational costs.
• Collaborate with regional carriers, warehouses, and customers to align service levels with business objectives.
• Implement data‑driven decision‑making processes using advanced analytics and simulation tools.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, load utilization, and carbon footprint.
• Lead continuous improvement projects, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and maintain robust contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting optimization outcomes and ROI.

• Proficiency in logistics optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft, Any Logistix) and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets.

• Knowledge of South African transport regulations and customs procedures.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

A relevant bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Six Sigma Green Belt are highly desirable.

Applicants must have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain optimization, or transportation planning, preferably within a multinational logistics firm.

The compensation package ranges from R600,000 to R900,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based bonuses may be awarded.
