Procurement Officer - FMCG

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials and supplies for their FMCG operations in Benoni . This role is essential for ensuring a steady and cost-effective supply of high-quality inputs required for production. You will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing inventory to support operational demands.

• Source and procure raw materials, packaging, and other supplies required for FMCG production.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong working relationships.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted supply while optimizing costs.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory standards.

• 3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
