Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking a specialized Industrial Engineer with a focus on Supply Chain optimization to join their team in Vereeniging . This role is critical in enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of our supply chain operations. You will analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, from procurement and inventory management to logistics and distribution, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.

This hybrid position allows for both on-site collaboration and remote analysis, offering a dynamic work environment.

• Analyze and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including inventory management , warehousing, and transportation.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times, minimize costs, and improve forecast accuracy.
• Design and improve logistics networks and distribution strategies for maximum efficiency.
• Utilize data analysis and modeling tools to forecast demand and assess supply chain performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement and manage supply chain technologies and systems to improve visibility and control.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong emphasis on supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems) and analytical tools.
• Solid understanding of logistics, inventory control, and procurement processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
