About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and driven Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Vereeniging . This role is integral to optimizing the company's supply chain operations, improving efficiency, and reducing costs through data analysis and strategic recommendations. You will work with large datasets to identify trends, forecast demand, and enhance inventory management. Key Responsibilities- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts to support inventory planning and production scheduling.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to implement supply chain improvements.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Optimize inventory levels and logistics networks for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and potentially BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, or a related field.
