Senior Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain

Our client has an exciting opening for a Senior Industrial Engineer with expertise in Supply Chain operations, based in Klerksdorp , with hybrid working flexibility. This role is critical for optimizing the flow of goods and information from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. You will analyze existing supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement innovative solutions to enhance performance.

• Analyze and optimize the entire supply chain process, including logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve on-time delivery rates and reduce transportation costs.
• Utilize data analytics to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Design and improve warehouse layouts and material handling systems for maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement Lean Supply Chain principles and best practices to minimize waste and maximize value.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain and logistics.
• Strong understanding of inventory management , warehousing, and transportation optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in supply chain modeling and simulation software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
