Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain Optimization

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical Supply Chain Optimization projects in Nelspruit . This role is essential for enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of our client's supply chain operations. You will manage projects ranging from logistics improvements and inventory management enhancements to the implementation of new supply chain technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain principles, a proven ability to manage complex projects, and strong leadership skills to drive transformation within the Mpumalanga region.

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of supply chain optimization projects.
• Analyze existing supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic recommendations.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams to implement process changes and system upgrades.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure supply chain continuity and resilience.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented initiatives and identify further optimization opportunities.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management , with a significant focus on supply chain, logistics, or operations.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects within a supply chain environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including inventory management, logistics, and procurement.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with supply chain management software and project management tools.
• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
