Maintenance Manager | Luxury Private Game Reserve

Location: Hoedspruit

Salary: R20,000 Negotiable DOE | Live-In

Roster: 6 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off

Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a luxury private game reserve in Hoedspruit for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations and ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to a technically skilled and organised individual with experience in remote or luxury hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all maintenance operations across the reserve, including lodges, staff accommodation, infrastructure, and equipment

• Implement and manage preventative maintenance programmes

• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance issues

• Supervise and manage maintenance staff and external contractors

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Manage maintenance budgets, stock control, and procurement

• Conduct regular inspections to maintain luxury standards

• Liaise with senior management regarding upgrades and long-term maintenance planning

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role within a lodge, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building maintenance

• Experience working in a bush or remote location advantageous

• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver’s licence
