Overview

The role of the incumbent is to maintain the sieve room spare stock levels, partake in sifter maintenance, sieve stretching and general plant maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Spares stock control
  • Sieve stretching
  • Plansifter and purifier maintenance
  • Liaise with Mill team on requirements
  • Conduct safety and cleanliness checks
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
  • Adhere to safety requirements
  • Conduct bin dips
  • Cleaning of the Mill area
  • Will be required to do general plant maintenance
    • Qualifications
  • Health and safety standards
  • Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification [Recognition of Prior Learning [
    RPL
    ] will be applied based on SETA accreditations.
  • 6 months experience in the similar environment will be advantageous.
  • Computer literacy will be needed.
  • Forklift license will be an advantage
