Relief Cleaner - ABC

Job Purpose

To carry out cleaning duties to the hours and standard defined by the Service, including opening and closing of buildings where applicable, and ensuring work areas are left in a safe and secure manner.

Duration: Supply/Casual/Relief

• A British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) qualification or relevant demonstrable experience (beneficial but not essential)
• Full PVG certificate

• Ability to work alone or within a team
• Good communication skills
• Appropriate level of health and fitness to carry out the tasks of the job
• Competency in the use of all equipment issued
• Competency in the use of all cleaning products used

Roles that require PVG membership:
Candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership. The Council will cover the cost initially, deducted from an employee’s first full month’s salary.
