Maintenance Assistant

This is a hands-on, practical role suited to someone who takes pride in keeping a luxury property running smoothly, from general repairs to preventative upkeep across guest and back-of-house areas.

• Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or general repairs role, ideally within hospitality
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors and at height where required
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
• Good communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude

• Carry out routine and preventative maintenance across the property
• Attend to minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
• Assist with pool, garden, and general grounds upkeep
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest and staff areas
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance stock levels
• Report larger maintenance or safety issues to management
• Support with painting, general repairs, and property upkeep projects as needed
