About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Cleaning Services Team Lead to join their facilities management team in Vereeniging . This role involves leading a team of cleaning staff, ensuring all cleaning tasks are performed to the highest standards, and contributing to a safe and hygienic environment. The Team Lead will be responsible for daily task delegation, quality control, staff training, and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.

• Lead, guide, and motivate a team of cleaning staff to achieve daily cleaning objectives.
• Delegate tasks effectively and monitor performance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaned areas to ensure standards are met and identify any issues.
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, equipment operation , and safety guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs for reordering.
• Ensure all cleaning protocols and safety measures are strictly followed by the team.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within the cleaning industry.
• Good knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation products , and equipment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate others.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model , including on-site supervision and remote reporting.
