About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance & Sanitation Worker to maintain a safe and clean environment at their facility in Klerksdorp . This dual-role position requires a proactive individual capable of performing both routine cleaning duties and minor maintenance tasks. You will be instrumental in ensuring the premises are well-kept, functional, and meet all health and safety standards.

The successful candidate will be adept at managing multiple responsibilities and contributing to the overall operational efficiency and positive impression of the company's facilities. This role is vital for daily operations and facility upkeep.

• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the facility, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and recyclables according to company policies and local regulations.
• Conduct routine checks on building systems and report any maintenance needs, such as minor plumbing, electrical, or carpentry issues.
• Perform minor facility repairs and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
• Respond to maintenance requests and address urgent cleaning needs as they arise.

• Previous experience in janitorial services or general maintenance is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance procedures and common repair techniques.
