About the Role
Our client requires a dedicated Facilities Sanitation Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of cleanliness and hygiene within their operational sites in Nelspruit . This key role ensures that the facilities not only meet but exceed industry standards for sanitation, creating a safe and productive environment for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong leadership qualities, and have a thorough understanding of modern sanitation practices.

- Develop and implement comprehensive sanitation strategies for all facilities in the Nelspruit area.
- Supervise and train a team of sanitation staff, ensuring adherence to protocols and performance standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to guarantee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage the procurement, storage, and efficient use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Investigate and resolve sanitation-related issues, implementing preventative measures.
- Collaborate with department heads to address specific needs and ensure seamless integration of sanitation services.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sanitation management or a related facilities role.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a cleaning team.
- Expertise in sanitation procedures , chemical handling, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills .
- Ability to conduct thorough inspections and create detailed action plans for the Nelspruit facilities.
