Maintenance Supervisor - Mining Equipment

Our client is seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team for heavy mining equipment in Benoni. This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of the fleet, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a high standard of safety. You will oversee daily maintenance activities, manage spare parts inventory, train technicians, and implement preventive maintenance programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment maintenance, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to operational efficiency within the demanding mining sector.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technicians.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mining equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns, ensuring minimal operational disruption.

• Proven leadership and team management skills.
