Industrial Cleaning Supervisor

Our client, a prominent industrial services provider in Vereeniging, Gauteng , is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time Industrial Cleaning Supervisor. This hands-on role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within demanding industrial environments. You will lead a team of industrial cleaning technicians, ensuring the efficient execution of cleaning operations, adherence to safety protocols, and quality service delivery.

• Supervise and manage daily industrial cleaning operations and staff in Vereeniging .
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures for industrial sites.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with stringent health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train and mentor cleaning technicians on proper techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the inventory and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent cleaning requirements promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and material usage.
• Liaise with plant managers and other stakeholders to coordinate cleaning efforts and address concerns.
• Foster a proactive safety culture and ensure all team members adhere to safety procedures.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance sector.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial settings.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Experience with inventory management and basic reporting.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport are essential.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Vereeniging.
