CA(SA) FINANCE MANAGER (Manufacturing) - ZAR 1 MILLION neg Northern Suburbs, CPT
An exceptional opportunity for a high-calibre CA(SA) to step into a true business leadership role inside a fast-growing industrial manufacturing company supported by private capital. This is not a back-office finance post. You will operate as a strategic partner to the MD, helping scale the business, strengthen performance, and shape long-term direction.
This role suits a commercially sharp finance professional who enjoys being close to operations, influencing decisions, and building systems that enable growth.
What you'll own:
- Full leadership of the finance function and control environment
- Manufacturing costing, margin strategy, and operational profitability
- Cash flow optimisation and working capital discipline
- Budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial modelling
- ERP and process improvement across the business
- Governance, compliance, and risk management
- Development of a lean, high-performing finance team
- Direct partnership with executive leadership on growth strategy
- Direct exposure to investors and executive decision-making
- A platform to grow into broader commercial leadership
- A business actively scaling, not maintaining the status quo
- Real influence over systems, structure, and direction
- CA(SA) with strong manufacturing finance experience
- 5 years’ financial management experience in a manufacturing environment ideal
- Minimum 3 years’ people management experience.
- Proven track record in operational and costing environments
- Confident leader able to engage at all levels
- Systems-minded, commercially driven, and hands-on
