About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize operational functions within their organization in Nelspruit . This hybrid role requires a strategic and hands-on leader dedicated to enhancing efficiency, productivity, and quality across various departments. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing operational strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring the smooth execution of business processes. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and P&L responsibility for operational areas.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Implement process improvements and utilize data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage vendor relationships and supply chain logistics to ensure optimal performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in operations management or a related leadership role.
- Proven track record in process optimization, project management, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of operational frameworks, supply chain management, and P&L management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and operational software is highly desirable.
