Senior Mining Supervisor

Our client is seeking a seasoned and safety-conscious Senior Mining Supervisor to lead a team of miners and operators at their site near Nelspruit, Mpumalanga . This hands-on role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of mining operations, safety protocols, and production targets. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of mining activities, ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of mining crews, ensuring efficient production.

• Manage workforce scheduling, performance, and development.
• Collaborate with engineers and other supervisors to achieve production goals.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating teams effectively.
• Strong knowledge of mining methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work shifts and in demanding conditions.
• First Aid and relevant mining safety certifications are essential.
