Logistics Supervisor

Our client is looking for an experienced and dependable Logistics Supervisor to lead their operations team in Klerksdorp . This role is essential for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods. You will be responsible for coordinating workflows, motivating your team, and implementing best practices to achieve operational targets. • Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure efficient order fulfillment , inventory management, and shipping/receiving processes.
• Implement and enforce company policies and safety regulations to maintain a secure and productive work environment.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to the team.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of logistics operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Logistics or Business is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within logistics or warehouse management.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain principles .
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
