About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Manager to oversee all aspects of parts inventory and operations at their dealership in Welkom. This leadership role requires a keen understanding of inventory management, supplier relations, and customer service within the automotive sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of necessary parts, managing stock levels efficiently, controlling costs, and leading a team of parts specialists.
The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with a strong track record in parts management, dedicated to optimizing efficiency and profitability while maintaining high service standards for both internal service departments and external customers.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock of automotive parts and accessories to meet demand.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
- Oversee the receiving, stocking, and distribution of parts, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Lead, train, and motivate the parts department team to achieve sales and service goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and inventory management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and improve operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and inventory control tools.
- A valid driver's license.
