About the Role
Our client is seeking a proficient Project Manager to lead industrial development projects in Vereeniging . This role is critical for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of new industrial facilities and expansions. You will manage cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to stringent timelines and budgets, and maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager to drive significant industrial initiatives and contribute to the company's growth and operational capabilities within a key industrial hub.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements for industrial projects.
- Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement robust risk management strategies to proactively identify and address potential issues and ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, control budgets, and provide regular, clear status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all project participants.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related field; PMP certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing industrial development projects from conception to completion.
- Proven track record of delivering complex industrial projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of industrial processes, construction management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools for planning and tracking.
