This is a Senior Executive opportunity for an accomplished mining leader with the operational depth, commercial acumen and leadership capability to take accountability for a gold mining operation at executive level. The successful candidate will bring extensive underground gold experience, a strong understanding of conventional and mechanised mining environments, and a proven record of leading large-scale mining teams and delivering safe, productive and profitable operations.
- Degree in Mining Engineering or relevant mining qualification
- MMCC, GCC - mine & works essential
- Previous 4.1 / senior statutory appointment experience highly advantageous
- MDP & MBA advantageous.
- Memberships to ECSA, MMASA,SAIMM, etc advantageous
- Extensive senior management experience within gold mining
- Proven leadership across underground conventional and/or mechanised mining operations - multi exposure imperative
- Strong track record managing large-scale production, safety, costs, people and operational performance
