Insurance Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Insurance Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations in Vereeniging . This leadership role involves managing teams responsible for policy administration, claims processing, and customer service, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high service standards. • Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the insurance department, including policy servicing, claims handling, and customer support.
• Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Supervise, train, and mentor operational staff, setting performance goals and conducting regular reviews.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices in operational activities.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on operational performance for senior management.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and finance, to ensure seamless integration and workflow.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance operations management or a senior operational leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement, workflow optimization, and team leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance products, systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
