Site Hygiene Manager - Industrial Park

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Hygiene Manager to oversee the comprehensive sanitation and hygiene operations within a major industrial park located in Nelspruit. This role is essential for ensuring a safe, clean, and compliant working environment for all businesses and their employees operating within the park. The Site Hygiene Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing park-wide hygiene strategies, managing a central sanitation team, overseeing waste management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and environmental regulations.

• Develop and implement a holistic sanitation and hygiene management plan for the entire industrial park.
• Manage and lead a dedicated team of sanitation staff responsible for common areas and facilities.
• Oversee waste management operations, including collection, segregation, and disposal, ensuring environmental compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections of all park facilities and common areas to ensure adherence to hygiene standards.
• Develop and deliver training programs on hygiene and safety for park tenants and staff.
• Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and national health and environmental regulations.
• Manage the procurement and inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and PPE.
• Act as the primary point of contact for hygiene-related issues and emergencies within the industrial park.
• Collaborate with park management and tenant representatives to address specific hygiene concerns.
• Prepare and present regular reports on hygiene status, incident management, and operational performance.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanitation, environmental services, or facilities management, preferably in an industrial, commercial, or large-scale public space setting.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive hygiene management systems.
• Strong understanding of waste management principles and environmental regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
