Tool Maker; Injection Moulding

Flexo Line Products (Pty) Ltd is a plastic injection moulding company based in Atlantis, Cape Town. We specialise in the manufacturing of a wide range of plastic products, including spice closures, educational toys, household storage solutions, domestic products, hardware items, bottles, and plumbing components.

We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Tool Maker to join our team. The Tool Maker will be responsible for CNC plastic injection mould making, servicing injection moulds, and diagnosing and repairing mould problems.

• Relevant tertiary or trade qualification (essential)
• Must be a trade-tested Toolmaker
• Minimum 5 years’ experience post apprenticeship as a qualified Toolmaker in the plastics industry
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection mould preventive maintenance
• Ability to assemble and disassemble injection moulds
• CNC machining experience
  
  Proficiency in 3D modelling software
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with hot runner systems
• Blow moulding experience will be an added advantage
• Must be able to work independently
• Strong communication and mathematical skills

Salary offered will depend on experience.
