• Proven experience as a Fitter.

• Exceptional welding and mechanical skills.

• Study drawings and specifications to determine material, method, and sequence of operations.
• Assemble fabricated metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.
• Check fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy and fit using precision measuring instruments.
• Set up and operate machining tools and presses, ensuring prescribed cutting and shaping tools are in place.
• Shape metal stock and castings with precision using machining tools.
• Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
• Diagnose faults, perform operational maintenance, and repair machines and mechanical parts.
• May be involved in on-site machine and equipment erection.
