A reputable manufacturing operation within the underground mining equipment sector is seeking a qualified and experienced Skilled Fitter to join its assembly team. The role involves the mechanical assembly of heavy‑duty mining machines, including sub‑systems, driveline components, and hydraulic systems, ensuring all builds meet strict quality and safety standards.

• Trade Tested Fitter (Red Seal preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy engineering or mining equipment manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
• Experience assembling heavy components and complex machinery
• Proven fault‑finding and mechanical problem‑solving ability
• Sound understanding of workshop safety standards
