Production Supervisor

Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the food processing industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Production Supervisor to join their Production Department based in Addo, Eastern Cape.

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in the food industry
• Reliable
• Good people management skills.
• Good working knowledge of disciplinary processes.
• Computer literate (MS Office, Pastel)
• Effective communication skills
• Experience in the food processing industry will be advantageous
• SGS Food safety training will be advantageous

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Oversee offloading and receiving operations
• Supervise bulk production
• Supervise all production staff
• Ensure that HACCP standards and procedures are followed
• Oversee departmental monthly budget expenses
• Control and completion of all relevant documentation
• Ensure disciplinary procedures are adhered to
• This position will require shift and overtime work during the production season.
