Production Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations by collecting, processing, and analyzing production data. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate production reporting, performance tracking, scheduling support, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across the production environment. This position is graded at a PE09 level and reports to the Unit Manager.

• Collect, validate, and analyse production data from various systems and reports.
• Compile and track daily, weekly, and monthly production KPIs.
• Develop KPI reports, dashboards, and trend analyses.
• Reconcile production inputs and outputs with Finance, Warehouse, and Stores data.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives using 5-Why and Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Ensure the accuracy of LMS and Qlik View production data.
• Compile production reports and meeting minutes.
• Provide data support for CAPEX, maintenance, and asset care activities.
• Conduct weekly stock counts and reconciliations.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational standards.

• Matric
• Diploma in Production Management (NQF
  5)
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production KPIs
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of Operational Excellence principles.
