Hominum Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client based in Alberton for a practical and hands-on Extrusion Production Controller to oversee extrusion operations and support efficient production output. The successful candidate should have experience in a manufacturing environment, with a good understanding of production processes, quality control, team coordination and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily extrusion operations and production workflow.
Ensure proper shift handovers between teams.
Lead and motivate extrusion operators.
Allocate work and monitor productivity.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety rules and procedures.
Monitor process conditions and production quality.
Keep accurate production and quality records.
Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate repairs.
Conduct product inspections and support root cause analysis.
Assist with operator training and cross-training.
Promote teamwork, housekeeping and safe work practices.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric.
Previous experience in extrusion, textile, production or similar manufacturing environment.
Supervisory or team-leading experience advantageous.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Strong understanding of production and quality standards.
Able to work in a fast-paced factory environment.
Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
Reliable transport to and from work.
