Driver: Forklift

Loading stock within the department. Receiving and placing replenishment stock, in designated areas.

• Neatness of forklift.
• Load and offload of trucks.
• Transport and stack raw materials.
• Housekeeping.
• Pre‑operation checks and reporting issues.
• Moving pallet packed materials around the site or storage facility.
• Checking and ensuring loads are secure.
• Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Following written instructions and keeping records.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
• Ad hoc tasks.
• Covering duties to standard specifications, forklift neatness, load and off‑load of trucks, transport and stacking of raw & packaging materials following FIFO, waste management, housekeeping.
• Completing and verifying records to document all work.
• Picking goods, packing stock in the warehouse.
• Ensuring all items are stored in correct locations.

• Grade 12.
• Forklift license.
• At least 1–2 years' experience in a similar position in the FMCG environment.

• Understanding of business processes, rules and procedures.
• Understanding of safe working practices.
• Understanding of stock control principles.
• Good communication skills.
• Sense of urgency/results orientation.
• Numerical ability.
• Innovative with a high focus on continuous improvements.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Accountable.
• Self‑motivated.
• Respect for self and others.

• Pressurized environment.
• 6‑day position.
• May be required to work Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as per roster.
• May be required to work shifts and overtime.
