PRODUCTION PLANNER BASED IN GERMISTON, GAUTENG
We are seeking a Production Planner to join our Production Team.
In this position, you will report to the Delivery Manager.
This position is mainly located in Germiston, Gauteng.

You will join the Quote and Order Management Team and work closely with internal // external stakeholders, such as Management, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors, Clients,
Supply andthe Sales
Team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Carry out the production planning process from capacity planning to the finished productCreate production orders, form work and production plans based on defined SAP process and capacity dataEnsure and maintain standard delivery times for products, based on production planning processes, according to defined product groupsRun production orders with the required availability of raw materialsVisualize, ensure, maintain and constantly update the production schedule of the most important customer orders, according to the established plan and taking into account the guidelines of the established process managerTrack, check KPIs (key performance indicators), identify weak points and take action to improve production planning indicatorsManage and continuously update the allocated production capacities, take active action in the management of weak points and take countermeasures to produce products on timeUse, continuously monitor and update the graphical production planning moduleRespond to internal inquiries by providing the standard product price and production completion deadline according to the established capacity of the production processesInitiate, propose and implement projects or improvements in your departmentTo adapt the daily work in accordance with LEAN principles and continuous improvement processesTo carry out work in accordance with the procedures, processes, policies, and values approved by MetsoEnsure adherence to Metso's vision and strategiesTo ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire safety and environmental requirements, to suspend works and to solve emerging occupational safety threatsParticipate in the investigation of incidents and accidents that have occurredWHO YOU ARE
Matric (Grade 12)Bachelor's degree in Industry/Manufacturing/Technical/Engineering/LogisticsAt least two years of experience in industry/manufacturing engineering, products/or similar fieldSAP and Excel experienceKnowledge of LEAN mindsets, concepts and toolsProfessional Office
