WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

Omnia Agriculture is looking for a Plant Operator to support the safe production, loading, and offloading of fertiliser products and raw materials. The role requires a hands-on individual with chemical production experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to perform administrative and computer-related tasks.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

· Ensure full compliance with SHEQ, safety, environmental, and site security requirements.

· Operate plant equipment to produce and load liquid fertiliser.

· Offload raw materials and safely handle N-Gas.

· Perform in-process quality checks and follow testing procedures.

· Operate and monitor production-related computer systems.

· Complete production and quality documentation accurately.

· Maintain housekeeping standards within the plant.

· Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance activities.

· Participate in off-season maintenance projects.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Qualifications

· Matric with Mathematics and Science

· NQF 4 or Chemical Operations qualification (advantageous)

Experience

· 2–3 years' experience in a chemical production environment

· Computer literacy
