Seeking a Food Technologist with 2+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry. Must have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge. Contractor position in Randfontein, Gauteng.
Food Technologist Seniority Level: Mid Career (2 - 4 yrs exp)
Type: Contractor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct receiving inspection for Packaging Materials
- Ensure materials meet set requirements and specifications
- Manage COA/COC verification and filing
- Handle non-conformance cases and complaints
- Coordinate NCR tracking and closure
- Support SQA technologist in NPD trials and file management
- Participate in audits and complaints resolution
- Manage hold and quarantine of Packaging Material
- Grade 12 or equivalent in Packaging Technology
- Min 2 years' experience in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of FMCG industry and MS Office
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
Required:
- Solid judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects
