Production Manager for Deboning Plant & Meat Processing needed in Krugersdorp with my client in the FMCG industry
Salary: R30 000
Minimum requirements:
- Ensure that the daily production operations of the plant run efficiently and without disruption.
- Manage production schedules and workflow to meet operational targets.
- Control and monitor the number of carcasses received and liaise with the Meat Board and veterinary services regarding allocations.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and quality control standards.
- Maintain smooth production flow and ensure adherence to all operational standards
- Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities to prevent downtime
- Analyse production-related budget variances and implement corrective actions to address losses or discrepancies
- Manage inventory levels and oversee supply chain logistics to ensure continuous production
- Monitor animal health and welfare in line with regulatory and company standards
- Manage daily meat cutting and processing operations
- Food Safety & Quality Compliance
- Zero major non-conformances during internal or external audits.
- Maintain product rejection rate below agreed threshold
- Budget & Cost Control
- Regulatory & Animal Welfare Compliance
- Sales & Customer Satisfaction
