Boilermaker; Feedmill

Sovereign, a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets with operations in five provinces, is seeking a thorough and committed individual for the position of Boiler Maker for its Feed mill operations in the Agriculture division. The incumbent will be responsible for mechanically maintaining plant and equipment to ensure maximum availability and throughput for feed Production. This position reports directly to the Senior Fitter and holds the TASK Grade T10.

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Boiler Maker trade test and experience in feed milling equipment maintenance and utilization will be an advantage. A minimum of 3 years post qualification, hands‑on mechanical maintenance experience is required, preferably in a feed mill.

• Attend to mechanical breakdowns.

• Report all unsafe working conditions.
• Complete all job cards.
• Ensure good housekeeping.
• Attend to boiler and compressor.
• Attend to call-outs.
